Self-Tapping Screw Thread Forming
It is directly developed from the iron sheet screw. The thread forming self-tapping screw must be pre-drilled when used, and then screw the screw into the hole to forcefully squeeze out the female thread, and the material originally on the female thread will be squeezed to the male thread. Between the threads, this is called a thread forming self-tapping screw. It can only be applied to thin and plastic materials, so it has been developed; thread cutting self-tapping screws - one or more cutting openings are cut at the end of the thread, so that the tail of the screw can be used when screwing into the pre-drilled hole. And the tooth part is cut out the matching female thread in a manner similar to a screw tap. It can be used on thick, hard or brittle materials that are not easy to shape.
